My mission statement is to advocate for the well-being of my community and the needs of the people who are vulnerable, oppressed, or are living in poverty.

My name is Emily, and I’m a social worker from sunny California! I have my MSW from Louisiana State University, my B.S in psychology with a minor in communications from Northern Arizona University, and an A.S in behavioral sciences from Los Angeles Pierce College. I have extensive experience working within the psychological sciences, addiction disorders, mental disorders, special needs communities, elderly, and those with socio-economic disadvantages within a clinical, daycare, and hospital setting.

Most of my time is spent exploring the shores of Malibu, playing magic the gathering, studying, or helping my community. I am passionate about nature and love capture it’s beauty through my artwork and photography. My inquisitive nature and neurodivergence pushes me to continue my research towards the advancement in the psychological sciences and hope to achieve my doctorate in the near future.
